Anya, my grandparents lived there while they were alive, and the chateau is now looked after by my cousins and aunt. It's a very beautiful place - they did an amazing job of the renovation, and I have always been in awe of my grandmother's decorating style. It is a residence - not open to the public, but there are a few apartments on the perimeter that one can rent - also very beautiful.
Heidi, I am 1/4 French (also Dutch and Spanish), and I went to kindergarten in France, but it has been a long time and I am no longer so confident in my language skills!
