The illustration is lovely! I am so happy she is featuring you again. I just read a little on her and I must admit, I could not understand why she left San Francisco for country living. Could not get my head around it until I saw a picture of her husband. Yep, I'd be tempted to leave the city for him too. He has that ruggedness which I find fascinating.

I remember a post you made awhile back about black houses, and I thought I'd point this out to you =)http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/sf/outdoor/black-housesdoor-sixteen-083430
This one's intriguing - so much going on, from our subject with her long Friday face and strained, leaning posture, the neatly composed little primate sitting very nicely by her side. And away from both the bright red ball, drawing our eyes with its color while eluding them with its blankness...Lovely work. Just lovely.
You are so good! It's wonderfull! The girl seems so allive!
Your blog (and your illustrations) are so beautiful! I am about to stalk your blog like it's never been stalked before. xoxo, P.
