I am loath to say it, but these are not Lipizzaners. These are various breeds if you look closely, and they are (ahem) circus horses. I hate to even whisper that word because "circus" is such a bad word in this day and age. And with many good reasons and decades of unfortunate precedent. But I needed to take these for an illustration project and aren't they beautiful? I love to see horses in action.
ps - look how tiny the little Arab looks next to all those big powerful breeds! But he had the stage and the spotlight in the last scene, as you can see.
