Autumn light at one of Denver's many, many small lakes...this one we call "secret lake", though I'm not sure why.

Sometimes you hit the time, the day, and the season all just right...

...this was one of those times.

Q is fond of forging makeshift swords out of stripped-down sticks lately.

I love to watch her theatrical renderings.

Just beautiful - both the girl and the place.
