Can you believe how much she's grown!
Can you believe that this little girl will someday be off to college?
Can you believe she'll someday be an adult, with hopes and dreams of her own?

Can you believe that just over three years ago, there was no Q on this earth?
And now we cannot imagine our life without her shining face to light it up like a thousand sparklers?
She is my light and my love.
If I had only known, all those years, what my future held.

wow. this brought tears to my eyes immediately. it has been such a privilege sharing this with you and watching you both bloom as parents, and her as such a cherished and beloved daughter.

she is simply divine and impossible not to love.

Maia she looks so grown up and so much her own person in these images. Would love to have seen a baby picture for comparison. Seeing her like this I can imagine her going off to school and being the coolest little girl there.

I find it very easy to believe that Q will someday go off to college. In fact, I find it much harder to believe that she is only three. She is an old soul and a beautiful, artful one, at that. You are so lucky and so is she. Thank you for sharing stories with us. They are always a joy to see.

Thank you, Nathalie, for seeing to the heart of it. She is much older (and also much younger) than her years. And that is her gift and her burden to carry through life. She needs to find a balance between the child and the old soul, and that isn't always so easy to do in this life. And also, thank you for acknowledging that we are as lucky as she. So many people say that she is lucky, while we feel every moment of every day that we are the fortunate ones. Hopefully, both things will prove to be true.

I do share the same wondering ...
