I don't know the circumstances of this photo anymore, but that's our LandRover, before we shipped it over to the US. That car cost us a lot of heartache in various mechanical ways, but I will never love a car more. And that's my mother on the left, in a skirt! A very rare occasion indeed.
And...back stateside. My mother and her little sister at my parents' wedding. Don't they look lovely? I love that mohair shawl my aunt is wearing.
