Saturday

It has been a breezy spring for the first days of April, with a chill in the air off the snow that has been falling in the mountains just to the West. So Q and I have been entertaining ourselves at the indoor carousel and playgrounds out at the end of Colfax for a couple of afternoons.
There is a photo booth near the carousel, and Q has discovered the joys of watching herself on the video screen, counting down with the robotic voice, waiting for the "caching" of the camera, and then watching the little slot for her photos to pop out.
When we get home each night, she has me tape the little strips to the wall next to her bed. These are mementos that I'll cherish someday when are days are no longer so closely tied together. What a wonderful time this is, when the world is our own little bubble of happiness.

How wonderful that you posted the booth shots! Yes, they will become treasured memories. Wait until she is 4 or 5 and everything you do together stays in her mind for posterity. It is priceless.

Sounds like fantastic times! Enjoy them! And I am certain they last and can happen again and again at no matter what age. If there is love, than simple joy is there and the bubble of happiness with it!

These are so adorable. We took a series at Elitch's last Summer and they are still my favorites ever of the two of us. I love these! Happy Easter, M.!

You have many many shots of lovely Q but these, with the two of you, and you the loving mother in the moment are precious.

Thanks, Lonnie. I'm particularly fond of these myself. Since I'm normally no the other side of the camera, I do treasure those few shots where we are together.
