Thursday

So, here's Q with her favorite monster, and the monster tee from Mini & Maximus that she won (thanks PAK!!).
 We love, love, love it!
Rare to find a tee that is not only this cool, but also soft enough and fine enough to properly drape on a three-year-old. Bravo, M&M!
Q isn't a big fan of the camera these days, but she had to strike a pose for this one ;)

 Reluctant angel.

What a beautiful editorial!!! She looks fantastic, I particularly like the wings! My son has the same T-shirt. Maia, I love all of these images, you have done an outstanding job. You should be photographing kids on the side, you have the gift.

Today the sun shone so bright and right, I lay on the grass and gathered the warmth into my soul.
Then I thought of something. I ran into the house, gave Ma my camera, and said, "Record it! These moments are but few."
She tried.
But I have to accept, we can never be Maia and QQ :)
How do you do it? You are able to convey that sheer magic of every moment into a medium that leaps into our hearts!
I agree with Yoli - photograph other mothers' kids - like me!!

Ooh I have to tell you this last thing - the comment word verification is bedbyema :)
I feel bad - I better go wish my Ma goodnight before she goes to bed... I love her despite the terrible photography ;)

Yes, give your mom a hug, Shaista! We all have our varied strengths (and weaknesses, lest we forget!) I love that people like my photography, but I can tell you that Q gets tired of me being behind the lens most of the time, and I have to remind myself sometimes to put down the camera and just be there!

and PS, Shaista, I only WISH we were close enough that I could come over and photograph you soaking up a magical morning. I only wish! Q and I would be there in a heartbeat.
