Monday

It's been a long time coming, but we finally have the beautiful photos that Hudson Valley portrait photographer Melissa MacDonald took of us when we were back in upstate NY over the summer. I really love this one.
It was pouring rain, but we had such fun that day, you'd never know it!
Aren't they wonderful?
Q with her LaoLao.
Just look at that face.

We'll be treasuring these for years to come.
This is Q's "excited face". Heh!

those are stunning!! Gorgeous light, gorgeous porch, and judicious application of socks with sandals. You all look happy and in love.
Seriously though, I'm going to have to make your holiday cards for you-- it's too much adorable family not to mail en masse.

:)

oh just lovely! your comments in the post before "waking up during the nap for a hug" is so right! i feel the same with little caramel... (his first tooth came out!) your words brought tears of ... tenderness... i guess... and of gratitude. thank you! kenza.

Great smiles, what beautiful girls your husband has in his life!
Btw Do you mind emailing me your address, if it's ok with you I would love to send a small something to Q.

I think the thing that stands out, aside from the physical beauty of your family, is the joy. Never loose it.

Q and her Lao Lao.....I just noticed that. Is that what she calls your mother? "old Old" cute.
