Monday

QQ on mother's day morning.
Espresso from grandpa's steamer.
Arriving at grandma's house (and promptly stealing someone's umbrella...doesn't she look sly?)

The twins.
A twin, hiding behind his puppy (I still can't tell them apart).

Discovering a new type of ball sport - football. My kid is all jock. Which is unfortunate because, while we're athletic in other ways, neither my husband nor I watches (or plays) team sports. QQ, at 19 months, is already obsessed with basketball and soccer, and collecting sports as fast as she can.
With cousin Victoria, and macarons ordered overnight from Mad Mac in NYC (my gift to my husband's mother).

Playing under the dining table with daddy. I'm quite sure his parents didn't approve...one of the many reasons why I love this man.

I can't keep my hands off my daughter.
As you can see...
...she's already quite comfortable...
...around a soccer ball. My little tomboy.

My daughter is obcessed with my swords which fills me with pride and at the same time worries me because fencing is too demanding for her heart condition.

Those pictures are adorable Maia. So much happiness fills her world and it is all because she has such great parents. That little girl is thriving and happy because her life is filled with love, so much love.

I can completely understand why you can't keep your hands off your daughter ... she is so adorable !!!

soccer is quite a big deal, here in frane and in EUROPE in general ...altogether we must have something like 4 or 5 soccer balls in the house + garage + outbuildings ...and we don't even have kids yet ;) ;) ;)

QQ has to be the most beautiful little girl I have seen in a long long time. She radiates some strong spirit and a huge capacity for fun. and you are clearly a good mama.
