Une Envie de Sel

I have to admit, it's been a fairly exhausting couple of weeks for all of us around here, so it really brightened my day when the mail carrier knocked on my door with a package today...
not just any package, but the one I'd been expecting from L'atelier de Marie et Rose-Alice!
Do you just love the linen bag that QQ's little sarouels came in? So sweet (pun intended!).
Valérie also did a beautiful job of tailoring mine to be a bit longer (these come in 16-year-old size in the shop, and I haven't been sixteen for a loooong time ;) so a few changes were necessary in the proportions. I can't believe how perfect they came out.
Sadly, I'm under-rested, over-tired, unshowered and not at all camera- ready today, so this is just a sneak peak...I'll post better pictures at a later date.
I just love this style, but have never tried it before, and wasn't sure whether it would work on my particular figure. In the end, I think they're grand! They suit me perfectly.
As for QQ's (the shorter version, in slightly different proportion, though also in cool linen for summer)...she's out with Daddy right now while I have some work time, so you'll have to wait to see her in these cuties!
