I am so in love with your work Maia. I know I have said it a hundred times and I will say it a hundred times more.
clairette, it takes me about three weeks for a pen drawing like this, from sketch through layout through execution. glad you like it! these were from a show called Red Canyons/Blue Space which I did side by side with my mother (who paints in oils). We got to spend some time traveling and working in the desert Southwest together while gathering material, which was wonderful. Our collaboration showed at the Fletcher Gallery in Woodstock and the Kiesendahl + Calhoun Gallery in Beacon, NY.
