It's amazing, really it is...but I have to tell you that yet another package arrived on our doorstep with Q's name on it...this one all the way from Malta!
Q has become so delighted by the ritual of opening her presents that she now gives a little shudder and ghasp of excitement when she sees one come out of its envelope.
To her joy, this one was a rabbit... a beautiful, floppy handmade rabbit with a humorous smile, crafted by the beautiful Juniper of Capers and Olives.
The ribbon was also useful as a headband, which Q is enamoured of lately since her babysitter likes to wear them.
This bunny, with Q's name embroidered on her back under her (removable) dress now graces Q's bedtime collection, with is threatening to crowd her out of bed one of these days ;)
Thanks Juniper! Big kisses!

Qiu qiu is beautiful. I don't know if I told you I am also from Jiangsu. It is very touching to see all the love she is getting. She deserves it. You are wonderful! I am sending a lot of love her...
It is very cute! I too love to see the small shudder of excitement when my friend's little boy sees a gift, or the Christmas lights being turned on, or indeed at the sight of a bus....too cute!
She made a cute bunny for Q!
I also love your bunny house!!!
The beds are beautiful :D
oh maia! the previous post is divine! the details, the photo i guess of your father, the color of q's t-shirt, the balloons, the zebras... and the bunny from junipers a treat! have a lovely week end. kenza
Kenza, the little framed photo in the previous post is not my birth father, but rather my "adoptive father", though I dare not really call him that. He is my mother's boyfriend of more than two decades. My father died in the '80s, and my mum has been with her wonderful boyfriend since then. He's an amazing person, and I would be proud to call him my father, but in reality he is more of a good friend whom I respect deeply.
So glad she likes it!!
Funny bunny... and sweet !
oh what an adorable face on bunny! I love the dump truck in the background.
