PHEW!
She finally arrived at her new home in France...the doll that I made on commission for Valérie of L'atelier de Marie et Rose-Alice
I thought she was lost for good...
Remember that storm that ravaged the postal service in France and England just before Christmas? Well, she was shipped just before it, and weeks later when she had still not arrived on Valérie's doorstep, I was sure she had fallen victim to the tempest.
But upon returning from NY I was thrilled to find this lovely post on the MRA website!
Hurrah!

Glad she found her way home.

Lovely! I'm sure it was worth the wait for her. Lots of our post was delayed too - I've only just received parcels from England posted early December, I had to go out and buy some more Christmas presents to make up for the ones floating around Europe...

So good to hear that your doll made it through the perilous journey due to the vagaries of weather! Such a precious work of art.

It is amazing to think of the mountains of packages they have to unpick to get everyone's treasures where they were intended to.
