Friday

Isn't she just such a pretty, grown-up girl these days?
Sittin' in Starbucks, drinking her soy cocoa.
I can just picture what she's going to look like as a willowy, independent teen.
A little too confident for her own good sometime, perhaps...
 but with good reason.
But for now she's still our balloon-totin' three-year-old. For now. For now.

Maia, time really flies quickly. I remember when you first started your blog and introduced us to your Q. Look at her now. Her face matured so much also. She's not a baby anymore...lol.

Not just past babyhood and into toddler; you're absolutely right, you can absolutely see the older kid and young woman in her face right now. She's going to be such a stunning teenager it's almost scary.

Yes, John, I'm a little bit afraid! But not as afraid as those-about-to-be-smitten should be.

Q is so adorable. Yep, and grown up... Can you do something about that please!?! I'll never tire of her lovely face and her creative flare in her clothing. Pruxxx

Fei, I love to know that people from Q's "home territory" are watching her grow and feeling proud. That will be important to her, I think.

Flotsam, thanks for the sweet, sweet words ;)

Q sends little Q kisses.

I think it is really wise of you to document Q's life. It's clear now how exceptional she is. It will be interesting in the future for others to see that she was always amazing.

I met a lady in the meads,
Full beautiful—a faery’s child,
Her hair was long, her foot was light
And her eyes were wild.

Here's to hoping that she always keeps a little bit of kid in her. There is nothing wrong with her being a balloon-toting teen too.

John said it best when he quoted Keat's, "La Belle Dame Sans Merci."
