and gold nails.
These are the things I do when the season changes.
Yesterday, it was close to 80 degrees F.
When I woke this morning, it was sunny and in the 70s.
By noon, it was hailing, and by 2:00, snow.
Our extended summer has been particularly long and luxurious this year.
Still, the change of seasons always stirs my blood.
It makes me restless and jumpy, in need of a change...not just a change in my closet, but a change in my soul.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I always feel like I need a change of identity when the season changes.

Autumn and Winter are my seasons. I come alive and everything is reborn again. So yes, change is inevitable. I feel these are the luxurious seasons. Well done Maia!
I remember my first year living in Colorado, it was strange to me, having moved from Iowa to see the drastic changes in weather, just like you described.
My older sister went to NY this weekend and she cut her long hair into a pixie style. She said she needed something different. Looks Fab!

I love your gold nails. This season I am feeling a huge urge to clean out my closet and get new stuff.
Great hair style. Summer is my fav season, and autumn 2nd fav. A few new scarves and some lovely new nail varnish help the transition to the chilly months.
Love the new haircut! You are not alone, I just got a new do as well, still try to get used to it because i went a bit wild, I let the stylist do whatever she likes and she made something asymmetrical, my mum didn't like it, she said, what is that???? :-)

I hear you on the changing seasons... I'd love some long hair during the fall and winter and then lop it off in the spring and summer. Unfortunately, my hair grows so slow since having the girlies.
