Thursday

Q's first morning at the Bentley, learning the joys of swimming in an ocean of down feathers!
Watching the Roosevelt Island tram make its way back and forth between the city and the island.
Acting out a private game on the windowsill.
Ordering herself around in the mirror, a game which she found hilarious to the point of hysteria at bedtime.
The view (which I promised) from the rooftop bar. Oh, my!
M and I enjoying a cocktail on the roof and the even more intoxicating view (don't mind the scaffolding). In all my years in the City, I never enjoyed such a breathtaking view as this! (Well, not the scaffolding...of course I mean the view in the previous shot, which lay below us to the left of this photo. We tend to take dorky and ill-conceived self-portraits when on vacation - sorry).

That's a seriously awesome looking comfy bed. I want a comfy looking bed. Not that my bed isn't comfy, it just doesn't look it :)

Au contraire! A lovely Valentine's photo of you two! Funny how you have to go BACK to get the great views. I hope it means you've been selling lots of watercolors. Love that Roosevelot Island tram! And yes you are making us jealous with those bed pictures. Q-Q looks like she's on to a good thing.

Thanks for coming by and being so encouraging! I do hope to get back to all of that soon and share it with you all one day.

Have a great weekend.

That looks like a perfect early Valentine's day and night to me. don't you think the most romantic moments are in those tiny little things as views and feathers?
We had our Valentines moment seeing the 'juicy' spark in Poppy's eyes again after this weekend. Butterflies in our stomachs!
Have a great weekend,
love guusje

Maia i would love to get some info from you on SN adoption... i am not on the yahoo boards (not a good thing for me) anymore and wanted to get some info on the way you did it. did you just submit a dossier for a sn match? what was the timeline and what agency did you use? any info and perspective you could share would be great. my email is shrabe@kc.rr.com
