Back in NY (virtually, not physically) and on to Chinatown, Greenwhich Village and Little Italy.
Above, with Q, is our friend Johnny. This was his first time meeting our daughter, and the two bonded instantly. It was a lovely thing to see. Couldn't have hurt that Johnny showed up bearing gifts of bunnies on the first day, and balls on the second (these are a few of Q's favorite things!) but more on that later.

Thank you for taking me to NYC via these photos. I miss it so much. Q looks adorable in her chocolate and fur hoodie jacket.
There is nothing quite like seeing the bonding of your child with a dear friend, really a special and usually unpredictable thing. It just happens or it doesn't.
The way you often lean back to NYC reminds me of the way feel about Brighton, 'the other home'. Which I so often long to return to and will always be slightly in love with.
Yoli, the parka was a last-minute purchase when she had already outgrown her early-winter parkas (sheesh! Fortunately, she seems to be slowing down a bit, finally!)
Juniper, it is a very special thing. There's definitely a chemistry that is or isn't there, and Johnny and Q had it right away. It was a joy to behold.
Thanks for the walk...
Gorgeous images! We have that little chocolate parka too...love!
I have saved SO MUCH MONEY! not living near ABC. It used to be my temple.
Thanks for reminding me how much healthier my bank account is. I don't have to go to ABC for color anymore. I go outside and I surf the web.
love the shot of the fish!
