reminds me of my red gummy necklace i made years ago. sadly it melted in the humid michigan summer. and who doesn't love cheerios? they were my first favorite cereal.
p.s. i got very brave and posted paintings of mine BEFORE the matisse and porter post (which i'm glad you liked!). make sure and let me know what you think!
you and Q are definitely excellent at this. I admire you for it. And you have the lovely doll house as well from your father! On my end, I am the worse at anything having to do with fixing things or making things up! Well except in my imagination. The reason I let Magritte do the talking.
Absolutely will be taking this simple, yet brilliant, idea and putting it to good use around the crumb's cherub neck!
And just so you know, I'm posting about your amazing talents tomorrow - wasn't able to get great photos with the frames due to glare, but the important part is that others see your incredible masterpieces! :)
Just tonight, after Gaia's bath, she stood on her 'kitchen' and pointed to the Pirate's Daughter and went "Monkey, hoooo, heeeee, hoooo, heeee!" She adores her prints!
Yummy! She seems to enjoy it! A friend of mine who has twin girls gave me this idea on the plane. I used it for Muguet when she was younger. I did the necklace myself and I gave it to her on the plane. It kept her busy and it wasn't messy! Now I should let her do some for herself like Q. Thank you for the idea!

oh goodness. LOVE a good cheerio necklace. Actually, any accessory made primarly of breakfast food and string is a-ok in my book.
It just makes sense, in this busy world, no?

Oh, this is PERFECT!! The best view yet!! Bravo, Q!
I think I'll have the girlies string up a bunch and then grab one every time we head out the door for some travel munchies!
This has to be the best! I adore Q's necklace, she is a cutie!!! xo

you know what is "une envie de sel"?
because "it's a desire of salt" =)
Jul-teenage: Yes, I explained a little about the naming of this blog in one of the very first posts, way back here:
http://uneenvie.blogspot.com/2008/11/salt.html
There is salt in my family history, among other things...
I love her wild look. She looks raw and primitive and oh so beautiful.
