Last birthday post, I promise...
I forgot to mention that when we painted Q's toenails pink, she insisted that mommy paint hers pink as well. I think it's safe to say that this was the first time in my life that I've had pink toenails. After that, while daddy had his sleep-in (we alternate mornings, usually), Q and I went to the coffeeshop for chocolate milk and vanilla scones, and then to the empty, early-morning playground. Barefoot.
The barefoot part was a great luxury since Q is rarely allowed to go barefoot. Shhhhhh...it's our secret ;) It's lucky that we went early, since it was a sizzlin' hot one that day. I think it got up to about 98F!
Filling up our balloons at Sunflower Market (yes, still barefoot).
And hiding in a forest of pale pink helium.

We are not tired of Q's birthday posts! I could feel the joy and love when looking at each pictures!
oh my! pink toe nails and barefoot! it takes so little to make a child (and us) happy! isn't that wonderful!
and yes I agree with you the ipod photo posted just before is incredible for the colors and the feel.
Please more birthday pictures! I love the balloon fest you showered on her. Totally in love with her little dress.

We love it so!1
loved all the birthday posts
what lovely pictures of a lovely family
and such a special girl
happy life you all
from Anne Sexton:
"Loving me with my shoes off
means loving my long brown legs,
sweet dears, as good as spoons;
and my feet, those two children
let out to play naked.
Intricate nubs,my toes.
No longer bound.
And what's more, see toenails and
all ten stages, root by root."
And, as Yanyan said, we never tire of seeing you and your sweet little girl enjoying her arrival at the mysterious age of three. Thanks for the lovely post.
