OK, I'm a little late to the party here... having fun looking through your trip memories. We traveled many of the same paths 4 years ago in bringing home Baby Girl from Jiangxi province.
My son burned his fleece jacket sleeve here at the temple - several small holes where each incense stick landed - and let out a very unpeaceful yell! Now my daughter is wearing that jacket and it amazes me how the time has flown by.

Are these incense sticks in the bottom picture? Lovely collage!
Those images have come to mean more and more each day as we delve deeper into Buddhism.
Merisi, they are incense sticks. It was very lovely, the whole thing.
Yoli, I know. Me too. I'm so glad we had her go through the ritual at the Buddhist temple. I think it will mean a great deal to all of us.
Beautiful photos. You capture well the whole feel of the place. Buddhism...agree...What ritual did you participate? Would love to hear about that!
