Last year on Valentine's day, my husband brought home a box of exotic cupcakes from a new bakery called "Happy Cakes". They were, in fact, such very happy cakes that it has become an instant tradition for us. This year, Q and I went to fetch a box for the holiday weekend.
For those of you who live in Denver, or intend to visit, Happy Cakes is on 32nd Street, Highlands Square, in old North Denver.
Beautiful as they are, it's the flavors that seduce. Delicate, subtle and zesty. These are not your childhood cupcakes.
We're off to San Francisco tomorrow for a week of well-deserved family vacation. I hope to have a whole new store of wonderful shots to share with you all when we return.Best wishes!
