When was the last time you thought about whoopie cushions?
I can tell you that they take on a whole new meaning when you are in the presence of a two-year-old who is seeing them for the first time.

There's a whoopie cushion installation at our contemporary art museum with a set of mechanical bellows that forcibely expand and deflate them repeatedly and in succesion.
Q had us standing there for nearly 20 minutes while we watched the cycle repeat over and over again, with her cracking up at intervals.
I suppose life will be forever changed for her now ;)

I love seeing everything anew through my children's eyes. It is like enjoying childhood all over again.

I was proud to take Alexander on his first trip to the Natural History Museum to look at dinosaurs recently. Before he thought that they were only about a foot long and scoffed at the idea that dinosaurs could be bigger than Daddy.

It blew his tiny mind to see real dinosaur skeletons. Lovely to be able to show someone that for the first time :)
