Busy times, since my mum is coming to visit from New York today! Yipeee!
But just had to post this...remember those cranes that I was going to make in order to replace the snowflakes that have hung all winter in our front windows? Well, I finally made them! Now, if I can only find the time to cut down the snowflakes and hang up these pretty blue cranes!

You can find the instructions online if they're not on the back of the origami package! Just google origami crane (or try wiki how). They're quite easy once you get started - I made a ton of them to scatter on the tables at our wedding!

Your cranes (and the blue patterned papers) are beautiful! I've dabbled in a bit of origami but always struggle with making cranes… the directional folding symbols confound me every time :) Seeing your beautiful birds has inspired me to give them another go though.
Have fun with your Mum!
